Repainting a Swimming Pool

The coping bricks where loose & lifted, the pool interior was rough like a coarse sand paper and there were no tiles protecting the pool from staining around the waterline edge.

Bricks were rendered and painted with PoolSide Paving Paint, Waterline tiles were installed and also an edge of tiles was added to the steps & swim-out area including the whole of the spa seat.

This swimming pool was painted directly on top of a rough pebblecrete, pebble should not be painted on... So naturally the paint was peeling off, the before photos show why this is not how to paint a pool with epoxy!

We rendered and waterproofed the pool surface before painting with pacific blue epoxy pool paint from Luxapool.

It's the tough jobs like this one that make us feel like the leading pool painters in Melbourne, so much work went into this swimming pool that it left us with a satisfied and proud feeling once it was finished and could see the difference.
